The hardest part of travel isn’t what you think. It’s not the jet lag, food poisoning or being stuck in the middle seat on a 12-hour flight between two people who’ve haven’t showered months or possibly ever.
It’s coming home.
The route to Phu Quoc island in Southern Vietnam was a massive adventure filled with crazy driving, a chain-smoking driver and one noisy rooster that sang like he was at karaoke bar after too many shots of Tequila.
Some days I’m snorkeling with sea lions. There’s other days where I’m just trying to get through the day without pooping on myself. Today is one of those days. In my latest post, I chat about the worst part of travel: food poisoning.
