The Garage Café is an eclectic little bar tucked way into on residential street in Birmingham. The bar has an expansive courtyard with tables scattered among a cluttered arrangement of concrete statues, metal gates and old sinks. It’s also an antique store and all the jumbled items are for sale—if you can track down the owner to get a price. Across the street is a creepy metal gate guarding a grassy lot full of concrete and old glass doors reassembling some sort of concrete graveyard. The first time I walked inside I knew it was my kind of place – it’s now one of my favorite bars in town. Last week, I spent a little while shooting out there…and came up with some interesting images -feedback would be great!
